KAJ Green Manufacturing Foundry

Admin 20-08-2026

Operating across three strategically positioned industrial hubs—Howrah, Asansol, and Hyderabad—the company combines regional metallurgical expertise with cutting-edge green foundry processes.

A Tri-Regional Manufacturing Powerhouse

Each manufacturing unit plays a distinct role in driving production capacity, technological specialization, and low-carbon logistics:

  • Howrah Unit (West Bengal): Heritage Meets Clean Metallurgy

Situated in India’s historic casting heartland, the Howrah facility blends traditional mold-crafting skill with induction furnace technology. This plant focuses on municipal castings, ductile iron infrastructure solutions, and precision components while utilizing advanced sand reclamation systems to cut landfill waste by over 80%.

  • Asansol Unit (West Bengal): Heavy Industrial Scale & Resource Efficiency

Located near raw material corridors, the Asansol unit is built for high-volume, heavy-duty industrial and infrastructure casting. Equipped with high-yield green sand molding lines and automated emission control scrubbers, it minimizes particulate output while optimizing energy consumption per ton of melted metal.

  • Hyderabad Unit (Telangana): High-Tech Southern Hub & Precision Engineering

Serving the burgeoning aerospace, automotive, and smart-city infrastructure sectors in South India, the Hyderabad plant serves as KAJ’s advanced technology center. It features electric melting furnaces, automated fettling, and zero-liquid-discharge (ZLD) effluent treatment systems.

Pillars of KAJ’s Green Foundry Blueprint

  • Energy Decarbonization: Shift from fossil-fired cupolas to high-frequency electric induction furnaces powered increasingly by solar microgrids.

  • Circular Resource Management: Near-100% internal recycling of scrap metal and closed-loop thermal sand reclamation to reduce dependence on virgin silica.

  • Air & Waste Filtration: Multi-stage baghouse filters and dry-scrubbing systems ensuring particulate matter emissions remain significantly below statutory caps.

  • Sustainable Logistics: A decentralized footprint across Eastern and Southern corridors cuts long-haul transit emissions, ensuring faster, lower-carbon delivery to domestic and export supply chains.

Through its tripartite network in Howrah, Asansol, and Hyderabad, KAJ demonstrates that robust industrial output and environmental stewardship can coexist seamlessly—forging a cleaner foundation for India’s infrastructure future.
